Bidwells Cambridge 10K

The Bidwells Cambridge 10K is a closed road race through the heart of Cambridge, starting and finishing close to Midsummer Common. The route takes runners through the city centre past historic university buildings and some of Cambridge's best known landmarks, before following sections alongside the River Cam.

Runners can expect an accurately measured and licensed 10K course with chip timing and extensive traffic free running through central Cambridge. The route combines broad city streets with riverside sections and provides a distinctive opportunity to run through areas normally busy with everyday traffic. Clear signage and marshals guide runners around the course before the return towards Midsummer Common and the finish.

The event is part of the Bidwells Town and Gown 10K series and raises funds for Muscular Dystrophy UK, supporting the charity's research and wider work. A Junior 3K gives younger runners their own race, while the closed roads, historic surroundings and large event village create a strong community atmosphere in central Cambridge.
