The Bedfordshire AAA 10K is a fast, traffic free road race held on the cycleways to the east of Bedford. Organised by Bedfordshire AAA, the event attracts runners of all abilities and incorporates the Bedfordshire AAA County 10K Championships, making it a popular fixture for both club athletes and runners chasing a personal best.
Starting and finishing close to Priory Marina, the accurately measured course follows wide tarmac cycleways on an exceptionally flat route with excellent PB potential. The well marshalled course includes a water station, with race headquarters at Bedford International Athletics Stadium providing parking, toilets, changing facilities and baggage storage.
Open to affiliated and unaffiliated runners alike, the event features chip timing, certified course measurement and professional organisation throughout. Combining a quick course with championship racing and a welcoming atmosphere, the Bedfordshire AAA 10K is one of the region's premier summer road races.
