Beacons Trail Marathon & Ultra
The Beacons Trail Marathon was introduced in 2018 after numerous requests from athletes, and is run alongside the Beacons Ultra event.

The 26 mile route follows the classic Beacons Ultra route with a cheeky little climb of Pen y Fan (highest peak in South Wales) and Cribyn thrown in for good measure, The timing of the Beacons Trail Marathon being at the end of the prime UK Ultra season means the event attracts a very mixed range of abilities, with the overriding atmosphere being relaxed and welcoming (although the competitive spirit in some can never die….ha!!). Whatever your ability, you will also be made extremely welcome by what is possibly the friendliest organisers and marshals anywhere on the planet.
