Bath Hilly Half is a challenging trail running event organised by Team Bath AC and the Rotary Club of Bathavon, offering a Half Marathon and shorter Ultra 10K from Bath Racecourse.
The course heads towards Prospect Stile before descending along the Cotswold Way towards Weston and climbing back towards Kelston Round Hill. Runners continue through Little Down and North Stoke, tackling rough tracks, steep hills, stiles and kissing gates. The Half Marathon completes two laps with almost 600m of climbing, while the Ultra 10K follows one lap covering approximately 12.45K with nearly 300m of ascent.
Around 85% of the course follows rough tracks, with grass and short tarmac sections completing the route. Water stations and marshals support runners throughout, with refreshments and medals at the finish. The event raises funds for local charities and has become an established fixture on Bath's trail running calendar.
