The Bangor City 10K and Half Marathon take runners from the heart of Bangor towards the North Wales coastline, with both races starting and finishing in the city centre. The routes showcase some of the area's most distinctive scenery, including the Menai Strait, Garth Pier and views towards Anglesey, Snowdonia and the surrounding coast.

Runners can expect a varied course incorporating city streets, coastal sections and woodland paths, creating a mixed terrain challenge with plenty of changes in scenery along the way. Both the 10K and Half Marathon provide an opportunity to experience Bangor on foot, with the longer distance extending the challenge while retaining the coastal and woodland character that defines the event.

The city centre start and finish create a lively setting for race day, while the journey towards the coast gives the event a strong sense of place. Scenic views across the Menai Strait, stretches beside the water and colourful woodland surroundings make the Bangor City 10K and Half Marathon a memorable running experience in North Wales.
