The Armada 5K July is part of the Armada 5K Series, a popular programme of monthly summer evening races organised by Armada Athletics at Saltram in Plymouth. Held on the second Wednesday of each month between April and September, the series welcomes runners of all abilities to enjoy friendly, low cost midweek racing.
The officially measured 5K course follows a multi terrain route through the National Trust estate at Saltram, combining parkland paths and woodland trails on a flat, fast layout. The scenic surroundings and consistent course provide excellent conditions for runners chasing a personal best while also offering a welcoming introduction to racing for newcomers.
The event features chip timing, a fully marshalled course and contributes towards the Armada Grand Prix standings for eligible runners. Combining welcoming club organisation, scenic surroundings and regular monthly racing, the July event is a popular fixture in Plymouth's summer running calendar.
