The Amport Trail Run is a scenic trail running event based at Amport Cricket Club near Andover, with 10 mile, 10K and 5K distances alongside canicross options. The routes head into the surrounding Hampshire countryside, providing a challenging rural setting for runners across a choice of distances.
Runners tackle undulating and hilly routes using trails, dirt tracks, single track paths and some sections of tarmac. Rough ground, mud, ruts and natural obstacles can feature along the course, adding variety and challenge, while signs, flags and marshals guide runners around the routes. Canicross participants can take on either the 5K or 10K in a separate starting wave.
Race HQ at Amport Cricket Club provides toilets, first aid and post race refreshments, with parking available within the cricket club grounds. The event operates cupless water stations to reduce single use plastic, while medals and prizes provide a rewarding finish after exploring the Hampshire countryside.
