The ABP Humber Coastal Half Marathon, 10K and Family Fun Run return to Cleethorpes on Sunday 20 September 2026, celebrating a decade of one of North East Lincolnshire's most popular running events. Organised by Tape2Tape, the anniversary edition promises another memorable day by the coast, welcoming runners of all ages and abilities.

Starting on Kings Road and finishing on Cleethorpes promenade, the Half Marathon and 10K showcase the area's coastal scenery with a combination of closed roads, promenades and traffic free paths. The Half Marathon also heads inland along the Humber Bank to provide a varied challenge, while the flatter 10K course offers an excellent opportunity for runners chasing a fast time.

Both races include chip timing, pacers, a bespoke 10th anniversary medal and a well organised race day experience. Runners can also choose to add an official technical T shirt, while spectators create a fantastic atmosphere along the seafront and at the finish.

The Family Fun Run takes place alongside the main races, giving families, walkers and younger participants the chance to be part of the celebrations. Every finisher receives a medal, and the event continues its support for the RNLI in Cleethorpes while maintaining its commitment to reducing single use plastics wherever possible.

Over the past decade, the ABP Humber Coastal Half Marathon has built a reputation for friendly organisation, scenic routes and an inclusive atmosphere.
