The Aberfeldy Games Race takes place as part of the Aberfeldy Show and Highland Games in Highland Perthshire. Organised alongside one of Scotland's traditional Highland Gatherings, the race follows a challenging 7.2 kilometre route over Weem Hill, combining fast hill running with rewarding views across the Tay Valley.

Starting and finishing at the Games field in Wade's Park, the course climbs onto Weem Hill before returning to Aberfeldy, offering a classic Scottish hill race that attracts both experienced hill runners and those looking to experience racing as part of a traditional Highland Games. The route features approximately 240 metres of ascent, creating a demanding but accessible challenge in a spectacular Highland setting.

Held under Scottish hill running rules, the race combines competitive hill running with the unique atmosphere of the Aberfeldy Show and Highland Games, where competitors and spectators can also enjoy athletics, heavy events, Highland dancing and piping throughout the day.
