The 5.30 Brighton is an approximately 5K early morning fun run held through the streets of Brighton. Starting outside the Theatre Royal Brighton at 5:30am, the event invites participants of all ages to experience the city in a completely different way as the day begins.
The approximately 5K route takes runners through central Brighton on a non competitive course designed to celebrate the enjoyment of running rather than race performance. Every participant receives a commemorative event T-shirt, finisher's medal, fresh fruit, drinking water and free downloadable event photographs, creating a memorable start to the day.
The event also supports Rockinghorse Children's Charity through participant donations. Combining an unusual sunrise start, an inclusive atmosphere and a distinctive city centre setting, the 5.30 Brighton offers a running experience unlike a traditional road race.
