A popular and varied trail adventure in its own right, but also an excellent timed choice for Ranger Ultras PB270 and Montane Spine Race preparation and build up, with mini-course recce.
The route is not waymarked (beyond fixed finger posts) but is wholly on public rights of way. Several on course refreshment and drinks points. GPX files are sent to all entries well in advance of the race. Based in Hawes with plenty of off-street parking. The village has a good choice of local B&B accommodation, pubs and shops. Pre and post event hospitality in HQ, finishers medals and winners’ trophies.
