The Worthing Family Mile is a fun and accessible one-mile race on fully closed roads in the centre of Worthing, giving runners of different ages and abilities the opportunity to race together.
Starting and finishing beside Worthing seafront, the flat course provides an ideal introduction to organised running for children and families. It also gives those taking part in the Worthing 10K or Half Marathon the chance to return to the start line and challenge other members of the family.
Whether participants are completing their first ever race or competing for family bragging rights, the emphasis is on an enjoyable and inclusive running experience. Every finisher receives a unique medal and goody bag after crossing the finish line.
