The terrain is vast farmland, chalkland and dry valleys through mostly green lanes and bridleways.
The undulating landscape is challenging but not technical, so whether this is your first ultra-marathon, or you are an experienced runner looking for a fast time, the generous 12 hour cut-off time would be suitable for anyone with a good level of fitness.
