Winchester Santa Fun Run brings a festive atmosphere to the historic streets of Winchester, raising funds for Naomi and Jack's children's and young adults' hospices. Starting and finishing outside the Guildhall, the event welcomes families, friends and runners of all ages to take part in a seasonal charity fundraiser.
Participants can choose between a 5K route through the city centre and a shorter 2K fun run, with both distances suitable for running or walking. The routes pass through Winchester's historic surroundings, with marshals helping guide participants along the way. The emphasis is on taking part rather than recording finishing times, making it a welcoming event for beginners and families.
A festive warm up outside the Guildhall gets everyone ready before the run, while Santa hats and Christmas outfits bring colour to the streets. Participants receive a medal at the finish, with sponsorship supporting specialist care, respite services and family support provided by Naomi and Jack's across the region.
