White Tops Hill Race

The Whitetops Hill Race returns to the Sidlaw Hills, offering runners a rewarding 10.4K hill race from the picturesque village of Kirkton of Auchterhouse. Organised by Dundee Hawkhill Harriers, the event combines a challenging route with spectacular views, making it a popular fixture on the Scottish hill running calendar.

Covering 10.4K with approximately 360 metres of ascent, the well marked and fully marshalled course provides an excellent introduction to hill racing while still offering a demanding test for experienced competitors. The varied terrain and steady climbs reward runners with sweeping views across the surrounding countryside before the descent back to the finish.

Open to runners aged 17 and over, the event features individual and team prizes across a range of age categories, with post race refreshments available in Auchterhouse Village Hall. Combining friendly organisation, competitive racing and a classic Scottish hill route, the Whitetops Hill Race delivers an enjoyable evening in the hills.
