The Dave Jones Prom Run is a 5 mile road race held along Weston-super-Mare’s seafront promenade. The accurately measured course completes two laps of the promenade, starting near Race HQ at Revo on Marine Parade, with an open coastal setting throughout.
The flat and fast course welcomes runners of all standards, from those tackling their first 5 mile race to experienced club runners chasing a quicker time. The race is chip timed and staged under UKA rules, with results eligible to appear on the Power of 10 rankings and medical cover provided during the event.
A separate 1 mile junior race takes place before the senior event for children and young people aged four to 16. Refreshments and toilets are available at Race HQ, which also hosts the post-race prize presentations, while paid parking is available along Marine Parade.
