The Welwyn 10K is a trail running event held in Panshanger Park, offering runners the opportunity to explore one of Hertfordshire's most attractive areas of parkland. As part of the Welwyn Festival, the event supports local charities while providing a scenic off road race experience.
The single lap 10K course follows established trails and paths throughout the park, passing a number of notable landmarks including the famous 500 year old oak tree, Queen's Wood, the historic Orangery and sections alongside the River Mimram. The fully off road route showcases a variety of landscapes across the estate.
Located between Welwyn Garden City and Hertford, Panshanger Park provides a picturesque setting for trail running with a mixture of woodland, open parkland and riverside scenery. A family fun run also takes place on race day, helping create a welcoming community atmosphere for runners and supporters alike.
