The Wells Festival of Running is a popular Somerset road running event featuring 5K and 10K races through the historic city of Wells. Starting beneath the medieval gateways in the city centre, the routes combine closed roads, paved paths and countryside running around the edge of the Mendip Hills.
The 10K includes a testing climb up Constitution Hill before a fast finish back towards the city centre, while the 5K offers a shorter single lap option on the same scenic route. Organised by Wells City Harriers, the festival combines historic surroundings with a welcoming community race atmosphere.
