Watermore RunFest is a community running event based at Watermore Primary School in Frampton Cotterell. The programme includes 10K and 5K races, with the shorter distance providing an additional option alongside the established 10K, followed by a children’s Rainbow Run.
The routes use a mixture of running surfaces around the local area, with particularly varied terrain through Crossbow and Hilly Fields. Roads remain open during the event, and runners are asked to follow the marked route and take care when moving between the different sections of the course. A water station is provided along the route.
Both the 10K and 5K start from the Watermore Primary School event base, with medals and finish line goodies for runners. The Rainbow Run takes place on the school playing field later in the day, with children divided into year groups and a quieter Rainbow Run option also available.
