Waingels Woodley Run Fest is a community running event organised by Waingels PTA in collaboration with Barnes Fitness, with 2K, 5K and 10K distances starting and finishing within the grounds of Waingels School.
The 2K kids fun run is for children aged 4 to 11, while the 5K is open to runners aged 11 and over and the 10K to those aged 15 and over. Activities and refreshments at the school add to the family-friendly atmosphere before and after the races.
All three distances are chip timed, with instant results and well signposted courses supported by marshals. Finishers receive a metal medal, with awards for podium and age-group winners and free event photography available afterwards. The event supports the work of Waingels PTA in providing additional opportunities for students and the wider school community.
