The Ultra Scotland 50 is a 56 mile Ultra Marathon that follows a substantial section of the Southern Upland Way through southern Scotland. The route takes runners across a varied landscape of forests, open hills, valleys and remote countryside, providing a demanding long distance trail running challenge.
Starting in St John's Town of Dalry and finishing at Moffat, the course combines sustained climbing with long runnable sections on one of Scotland's best known long distance trails. The event offers a significant endurance test while showcasing the scenery and remote character of the Southern Uplands.
