The Truro Half Marathon is an established road race starting from Lemon Quay in the heart of Truro. The course begins with a loop through the city centre before heading into the countryside around Porth Kea, Playing Place and Cowlands.
Runners take on an undulating half marathon route that is almost entirely on road, with several hills adding to the challenge. The opening city centre section and finish benefit from road closures, while much of the remaining course follows quieter rural roads around the Cornish countryside.
Organised by Truro Running Club, the event is part of the Cornwall Grand Prix series and welcomes runners beyond those competing in the series. The course is fully signposted and marshalled, with water stations positioned along the route and a finisher's medal awaiting runners at the finish.
