Organised by the Trunce Race Series, Trunce 7 takes place at Oxspring Playing Field near Penistone, Sheffield. The race covers approximately 6.2km (3.9 miles) with 190m of ascent, offering a short but demanding fell running challenge.
The route follows mixed fell and trail terrain in the Peak District, combining climbs, descents and technical sections suitable for experienced off-road runners. The event is part of the eight-race Trunce Series, with overall series trophies awarded rather than individual race prizes.
A junior race is also held over approximately 3km for runners aged 10 and above, followed by the senior race two minutes later. Entries are available on the day, making this a popular and accessible local fell race.
