Trunce 8 is the final race in the popular Trunce Series, taking place from Oxspring Playing Field near Sheffield. The 6.2K fell race features 190 metres of ascent and is held under Fell Runners Association rules, with a 3K junior race also taking place before the senior event.
The course follows the traditional Trunce format, combining steep climbs, fast descents and varied off road terrain to provide a challenging but accessible fell running experience. As the concluding race of the eight race series, it also plays a key role in deciding the overall series standings across the senior, veteran and junior categories.
