The Trotternish Ridge Race is a challenging 27K mountain race on the Isle of Skye, following the classic route from Flodigary to Storr Lochs. The course traverses the Trotternish Ridge, passing landmarks including Meall na Suiramach, Ben Edra and The Storr while covering approximately 2,000 metres of ascent and descent.
The route is unmarked and requires runners to navigate between checkpoints across exposed mountain terrain. As a Category A long race, it is aimed at experienced hill runners with the skills and endurance needed to tackle one of Scotland's most iconic ridge traverses.
