The Treggy 7 is a 7 mile road race starting from Launceston Town Square and exploring the rural roads surrounding the historic Cornish town. The circular course begins with a downhill opening mile before heading into the countryside and finishes in the grounds of Launceston Castle.
Runners face an undulating route with a notable half mile climb towards Tregadillett around the halfway point. After leaving the village, the final three miles are predominantly downhill, giving runners the opportunity to pick up the pace on the return towards Launceston.
Organised by Launceston Road Runners, the Treggy 7 is an established fixture on the Cornish running calendar. Water stations support runners around the course, with the distinctive finish beneath Launceston Castle providing a memorable conclusion to the race.
