Tough Mudder London South is an obstacle running event at Holmbush Estate in West Sussex, with 15K and 5K challenges taking place across a weekend. The courses use the estate's wild, wooded landscape to create a demanding combination of running, natural terrain and purpose built obstacles, with a separate Kids Adventure also available.
The 15K is the main challenge, taking participants across hilly mixed terrain while tackling more than 20 Tough Mudder obstacles. The shorter 5K features more than 12 obstacles, with both courses incorporating the estate's woodland, mud, climbs and natural features. Obstacles are designed to test strength, endurance and teamwork rather than focusing solely on finishing time.
Finishers earn a Tough Mudder medal, finisher shirt and signature headband, with the experience continuing at the Mudder Village after the course. The combination of challenging obstacles, muddy terrain and a strong emphasis on teamwork makes London South accessible as a group challenge while still providing a substantial physical test.
