The Thurstaston Multi Terrain Race is a 6 mile event on the Wirral combining roads, beach sections, tracks and paths across a varied coastal route. Held for more than 30 years, the race offers a mix of surfaces and terrain that creates a distinctive running experience compared with a traditional road race.
Starting from Thurstaston, the course takes runners across a range of landscapes with a combination of runnable sections and more challenging terrain. Open to all runners, the event remains a popular fixture in the local racing calendar and showcases some of the Wirral’s best known coastal surroundings.
