Thorney Lakes Half Marathon, 10.7K & 5.3K is organised by Inertia Events and explores the quiet rural landscape of the Somerset Levels near Langport.
All three distances start and finish at Thorney Lakes, with the shorter races using out-and-back sections of the local road network. The Half Marathon covers 21.1K with around 143m of elevation, while the 10.7K and 5.3K provide flatter, shorter alternatives through the same open countryside.
Runners, walkers and Jeffers are welcome, with no formal race cut-off. The routes are marked and supported by first aid and up to three aid stations providing drinks and snacks. Every participant receives an officially recorded finish time, while entrants can choose whether to receive a finisher medal. Camping is also available separately at Thorney Lakes.
