The Ship Inn Shuffle is a scenic trail running event organised by It's Grim Up North Running, starting and finishing at The Ship Inn in Sewerby near Bridlington. With Marathon, Half Marathon and 10K distances, the event showcases the spectacular Yorkshire coastline while offering a choice of challenges for runners of all abilities.
The out and back routes follow a varied mix of coastal trails, woodland paths and open fields, passing Danes Dyke and continuing towards Flamborough. Expect undulating terrain with steps, stiles and rewarding clifftop views across the North Sea. The 10K offers a gentler introduction to the course, while the Half Marathon and Marathon provide a more demanding coastal trail experience.
With well stocked feed stations, fully marked routes, supportive marshals and a post race meal at The Ship Inn, the Ship Inn Shuffle combines excellent organisation with a relaxed, sociable atmosphere.
