The River Run follows the River Darent from Central Park in Dartford through the Kent countryside, with 5K, 10K and 18K distances available. Each distance follows a point to point route, giving runners, joggers and walkers a choice of challenges along the river.
Runners follow the River Darent through a succession of villages and countryside, with the route passing Darenth, Sutton at Hone, South Darenth, Horton Kirby, Farningham, Eynsford and Shoreham on the way towards Otford. The 5K finishes in South Darenth, the 10K in Eynsford and the full 18K route continues to Otford.
The event welcomes a wide range of abilities and provides transport from the separate finish locations back towards the start in Dartford. Finishers receive a medal along with post run water and a snack, making this a friendly point to point running challenge through the Darent Valley.
