The One to the Castle Windsor Trail Half Marathon is a point to point race that follows the River Thames from Marlow to Windsor. Designed for both experienced runners and those new to trail racing, the event combines a scenic route with a largely level profile through some of Berkshire's most attractive riverside landscapes.
The course follows the Thames Towpath on a multi terrain route, offering continuous views of the river and surrounding countryside. The relatively flat nature of the course makes it accessible to a wide range of runners while still providing the variety and enjoyment of off road running.
Starting in Marlow and finishing at Alexandra Gardens in Windsor, the event concludes close to one of Britain's most recognisable royal landmarks. Its combination of riverside scenery, point to point racing and an iconic finish location makes the One to the Castle a distinctive fixture in the summer trail running calendar.
