The Long Way Round is a six hour trail endurance event at Newlands Corner in the Surrey Hills. Runners complete as many 4K trail loops as they choose within the time limit, using flowing woodland paths and rolling countryside trails in one of Surrey’s best known trail running areas.
Designed around a run your own race format, the event suits runners chasing distance goals, ultra marathon training or a relaxed day on the trails. Organised by Outrun London, the event combines a supportive community atmosphere with fully marked loops and repeat access to aid support throughout the run.
