The Isle of Jura Fell Race is one of the UK’s most iconic and demanding fell races, taking place across the remote mountains of the Inner Hebrides. Starting and finishing in Craighouse, the 28K route covers seven summits including the famous Paps of Jura with significant climbing across rough and often technical terrain.
The unmarked course requires strong hillcraft, navigation and mountain running experience, with runners choosing their own lines between checkpoints across rocky slopes, boggy ground and steep descents. The race has built legendary status within the fell running community for its challenging conditions and dramatic island scenery.
