Hampshire Hoppit Trail Marathon & Half Marathon

The Hampshire Hoppit takes place in Kingsclere on the Hampshire and Berkshire border, offering Marathon, Half Marathon and 10K trail race distances. Run predominantly off road, the event follows clearly marked single lap routes through the rolling countryside surrounding Watership Down.

The Marathon and Half Marathon routes incorporate sections of the historic Wayfarers Walk and Harrow Way, while all three distances showcase the landscapes of northern Hampshire. Runners encounter trails, tracks and rural paths, with expansive views from some of the highest points in the county.

Organised by Basingstoke and Mid Hants AC, the Hampshire Hoppit has become one of the South East's best known trail running events, combining historic routes, varied terrain and scenic countryside across all race distances.
