The Cotswold Way Challenge is a 100K ultra marathon following the Cotswold Way National Trail from Cirencester to Bath. The route passes through the heart of the Cotswolds, linking villages, escarpments, woodland and open countryside while showcasing one of England’s best known long distance trails.
Runners follow a trail route across rolling terrain with sustained climbs and descents characteristic of the Cotswold landscape. The course passes through a variety of environments including ancient woodland, farmland and elevated sections with far reaching views across the surrounding countryside.
Finishing in the historic city of Bath, the event combines a challenging ultra marathon distance with a journey through the distinctive scenery of the Cotswolds, making it one of the UK's most recognisable long distance trail running challenges.
