The Beckwith Run is an annual community running and walking event held within the 1,200 acre grounds of Lord Wandsworth College in Hampshire.
The event offers 5K and 10K options, with the longer distance completing two laps of the course. Starting from the Acorn Gates, the route explores woodland, fields and some of the most distinctive parts of the College estate, including Sheephouse Copse, Quercus and the sections known as Heaven and Hell.
Students, parents, staff, former pupils and other members of the College community take part, with dogs also welcome. Runners can compete for a place on the Beckwith leaderboard, while walkers are encouraged to enjoy the course at their own pace.
Named after Alfred Beckwith, the College's first pupil, the event has become an established fixture marking the beginning of the new school year.
