The Bat Challenge is a 6 hour trail running event at Beacon Hill Country Park in Leicestershire, following a 3.3 mile off road loop through woodland and hillside trails. Runners can complete as many laps as they choose within the time limit, with distances ranging from 5K through to ultra marathon distance.
The course climbs steadily through the country park on crushed stone trails before descending back towards the start, with wide views across the surrounding countryside. Starting in the evening and continuing into darkness, the event offers a unique trail running experience with daylight, dusk and night running across varied terrain.
