The Thames Path Challenge follows the famous Thames Towpath upstream from London towards Henley-on-Thames, with the full 100K route passing Richmond, Hampton Court, Runnymede and Windsor before reaching its riverside finish.
Runners can tackle the full 100K ultra or choose 72K, 50K, 28K and 22K challenges covering different sections of the route. The largely flat course follows riverside paths and varied trail terrain, providing an endurance challenge suitable for running, jogging or walking.
Part of the Ultra Challenge series, the event provides signed routes, GPS tracking, regular rest stops, food and drink and medical support along the way. The range of distances allows participants to experience anything from a shorter section of the Thames Path to the complete 100K journey.
