The CPM Thame 10K is one of Oxfordshire's best established road races, organised by Thame Runners and held annually on the last Sunday in June. Starting and finishing at Thame Leisure Centre, the event attracts over 1,000 runners and has raised more than £100,000 for local charities since its inception.
The accurately measured course begins through the historic streets of Thame before heading out towards Towersey on quiet country roads. The return route follows the traffic free Phoenix Trail, creating a predominantly flat course with an appealing mix of urban and rural scenery. The varied route is ideal for runners targeting a personal best as well as those taking on their first 10K.
With chip timing, enthusiastic marshals, a commemorative finisher's T-shirt and an optional medal, the CPM Thame 10K delivers an outstanding race day experience. Combining a fast course, excellent organisation and strong community support, it remains one of the most popular summer road races in Oxfordshire.
