The Tadley Tens is a long established road running event organised by Tadley Runners, with 10 mile and 10K distances based at Hurst Community College near Tadley. Both routes explore the countryside around the Hampshire and Berkshire border, passing through a mixture of rural lanes and attractive village surroundings.
Runners can choose between the 10 mile race for a longer endurance challenge and the 10K for a shorter test of pace. The courses feature rolling hills and picturesque country roads, providing a varied challenge rather than a completely flat road race and making the event suitable for a range of running abilities.
The event has traditionally brought runners together for a friendly club organised race with professional chip timing and a strong local atmosphere. Its combination of two popular distances and scenic countryside roads has made the Tadley Tens a regular fixture in the regional running calendar.
