The Stowmarket Friday Five is the fifth race in the prestigious Friday Five Series, bringing runners together for an enjoyable summer evening event in the beautiful surroundings of Haughley Park. Organised by Stowmarket Striders, the race welcomes both club and non club runners for a friendly yet competitive five mile challenge.

Starting and finishing within Haughley Park, the accurately measured multi terrain course combines a section through the park with quiet country roads before returning for a fast finish. Predominantly flat with a handful of gentle inclines, the route is ideal for runners chasing a personal best or stepping up in distance from shorter races.

Every senior finisher receives a technical event T-shirt, with chip timing, individual and age category prizes, and excellent organisation throughout. Junior races also form part of the evening programme, making the Stowmarket Friday Five a popular fixture on the Suffolk summer running calendar.
