The Stickle Grind 650 is a short but demanding uphill mountain race in Great Langdale. Covering 2.4K, the route climbs 650 metres from Stickle Barn to the summit of Harrison Stickle, one of the Lake District's most recognisable peaks.
Runners and power hikers follow marked mountain trails past Stickle Tarn before making the final ascent to the rocky summit. Despite its relatively short distance, the significant elevation gain creates a challenging test of strength and endurance in the heart of the Lake District National Park.
