Moor Park 10 and More is a community running event based at Merchant Taylors’ School in Rickmansworth, raising funds to support the work of Mount Vernon Cancer Centre. The programme centres on a UKA licensed, chip timed 10K alongside junior fun runs and charity walking events for a wide range of ages.
The 10K takes runners on a closed road course through the grounds of Merchant Taylors’ School, Moor Park Golf Course and the surrounding Moor Park estate. With traffic free roads and an attractive private estate setting, the race provides a distinctive route for runners while remaining part of a relaxed, family focused day of activities.
Junior races range from 850m to 3.9K, with distances organised by age group, while separate 5K and 10K March for Mount Vernon walks broaden participation beyond the main race. Finishers receive an event medal, and proceeds from the event help fund services and support connected with Mount Vernon Cancer Centre.
