St Andrew's Hospice Schools' 6K Fun Run & Race brings together secondary school pupils and staff from across North and South Lanarkshire for an annual fundraising event at Strathclyde Country Park.

The 6K route uses roads and paths within the country park, with participants gathering near the Boat House before taking on the course. The event combines a fun run with a competitive race, allowing schools to involve pupils of differing running abilities.

The event is organised in support of St Andrew's Hospice, with participants encouraged to raise sponsorship through their schools. Funds raised help the hospice provide specialist palliative and end-of-life care for patients and support for families across Lanarkshire. Entry is coordinated through participating schools, with pupils obtaining registration details directly from their school.
