The majority of the course is on relatively new crushed stone and so unless the weather has been awful it should be good running for the majority of the route (around 80%).
The final route will be decided in the autumn due to new sections of country park being opened. The plan is to use these new sections. The course will be on pathways throughout however, so although your trainers won’t be clean (it’s in January after all!) you won’t be thigh high in mud either!
