The Springfield Striders Friday Night 5 returns to the picturesque village of Pleshey for one of Essex's most popular summer road races. Organised by Springfield Striders, the award winning event welcomes runners of all abilities, whether stepping up from 5K, chasing a personal best or simply enjoying a sociable evening of racing.
The accurately measured 5 mile course consists of two laps on quiet country lanes through the beautiful Essex countryside, providing a fast yet scenic route with excellent support from marshals and fellow runners. Chip timing, individual and team prizes, and professional organisation ensure a first class race experience.
