The Sphinx Summer 5 is an annual 5 mile road race organised by Sphinx AC and held in and around Coventry’s War Memorial Park. The course follows a largely traffic free route on park paths and surrounding roads, providing an accessible and enjoyable challenge for runners of all abilities.
Well known in the Midlands running calendar, the race attracts club runners, recreational runners and first time racers alike. The combination of a measured 5 mile distance, supportive atmosphere and parkland setting makes it a popular summer evening event in Coventry.
