The Speyside Way 50K follows the Speyside Way from Tamdhu Distillery through the heart of Scotland's famous whisky country before finishing at the Speyside Way Landmark in Buckie. The predominantly runnable trail is net downhill, combining forest tracks, riverside paths and a scenic coastal finish, while the 100K starts in Aviemore and covers the full Speyside Way route.
Organised by Moray Way Ultras, the event provides fully stocked aid stations, live GPS tracking, mandatory kit checks and an official race bus to the start. The race has a long history dating back to 1994 and has become one of Scotland's best known ultra trail events.
Whether you're stepping up to your first ultra or aiming for the full 100K challenge, the Speyside Way Ultras deliver fast, scenic trail running through the Cairngorms and Speyside before reaching the Moray coast.
