The London South East Spartan Weekend brings a range of obstacle races to the countryside setting of Pippingford Park in East Sussex. Runners can choose from the 5K Sprint, 10K Super, 21K Beast and 50K Ultra, alongside shorter obstacle races for children, with each distance presenting a different combination of running and obstacles.
The courses take runners across the rolling hills and rugged trails of Pippingford Park, where natural terrain, elevation and potentially wet sections add to the challenge. The 5K Sprint includes 20 obstacles, the 10K Super features 25, the Half Marathon distance Beast has 30, and the 50K Ultra tests endurance over 60 obstacles.
Pippingford Park is an established Spartan venue and provides an expansive countryside course away from the city. Runners can tackle an individual distance or take on multiple events across the weekend, with the Sprint, Super and Beast forming the three distances required to complete a Spartan Trifecta.
